Introducing the SoundRoutes Singers Blog!
Updated: Nov 9
We are delighted to launch our very own blog! This is something the team has wanted to do for a while and what better time than with the launch of our shiny brand new website?! Our aim for this blog is to create a place that we can share information (vocal techniques, warm ups, etc), talk about what's going on in the world of SoundRoutes Singers, and really anything else music- or singing-related! We are also planning on getting you members involved...you have been warned...!
We, like everyone in the world, have had a pretty chaotic 18 months...It's been a difficult time but we have tried to embrace the challenges life (well, Covid!) has thrown at us. We've managed to move to online choir rehearsals (once again, thank you to everyone who participated!), create some really fantastic videos of songs and we've been working hard behind the scenes to make SoundRoutes run as smoothly as possible. One of the things I was keen to work on was the website...
Myself and Shona have had a lot of fun over the last few months working on the new-look website. We hope you like it! I really wanted it to reflect what SoundRoutes is all about: having fun and making music (and friends!). The website will evolve over time - for example, I really want to get your help in creating a 'Memories' area where we can put historical pictures from previous concerts.
In the meantime, along with the launch of the website and this blog, we would like to welcome you back to in-person sessions! This has been a dream for many, many months and we are so excited about seeing you all soon.
Take care and get those voices warmed up!
PS If anyone would like to put themselves forward for writing a post please get in touch!
