As you may have noticed, we are lucky enough to have some lovely new leaders at SoundRoutes Singers. Please welcome Jen and Dillon! We thought you'd like to get to know them a little better so we asked them some questions to find out more...
First up...Jen!
Jen Bonnar is an experienced solo performer, backing singer and session vocalist. Originally from Glasgow, she now lives in Renfrewshire. She’s worked with small and large choirs, across many musical genres. She loves arranging music and bringing fun and laughter through community singing.
Now for some questions...
Who would be your dream duet partner? What song would you sing?
Idina Menzel. I’d sing “For Good” from the musical Wicked. It’s a duet about the strength of friendship.
Most memorable musical experience (so far!)?
Singing backing vocals for The Kooks for the Radio 1 Big Weekend in Glasgow. Felt like a real rock chick!
You're having a dinner party...who would you invite? And what would be on your playlist?
I’d invite John Legend, Alanis Morrisette, Hugh Jackman, Sheryl Crow and Michael Buble. My playlist would be pretty eclectic with chill out music, pop, soul, R&B and rock. Hopefully some tunes we could all sing along with…

Dillon is an actor and singer from Glasgow and is currently studying a degree in Musical Theatre. He is delighted to join the SoundRoutes family as one of our Choir Leaders!
Question time...
Who would be your dream duet partner and what song would you sing?
My dream duet partner would be Liza Minelli or Lady Gaga. I’m sure we would sing some dramatic show tunes together!
Most memorable musical experience (so far!)?
My most memorable musical experience was recently originating a role in a brand new production with Scottish Opera, called 'Rubble'.
You're having a dinner party...who would you invite?
If I had a dinner party I would invite the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because a party isn’t a party without some drama!
